It looks like Amber Heard's going to have to testify under oath pretty soon.
On Tuesday, Johnny Depp's legal team held an emergency hearing, where they convinced a judge to set a date to depose the actor's ex.

According to court papers, the judge ruled that the blonde will face questions from her estranged husband's attorneys on August 6, regarding her request for a permanent restraining order from her former flame.
In late May 2016, less than a week after Amber Heard filed for divorce from Johnny Depp, citing irreconcilable differences and asking for spousal support, she showed up at a Los Angeles courthouse with a bruise near her right eye that she claimed was a result of Depp throwing a cell phone at her face.
Heard, 30, was granted a temporary restraining order against the 52-year-old actor; all of this occurred just a few days after Depp's mother, Betty Sue Palmer, died after battling a long illness.
The 53-year-old Oscar-nominated actor was joined by Zachary Levi, Brenton Thwaites, and performers Juliette Lewis, Rage Against the Machine’s Brad Wilk, Weezer’s Scott Shriner, Jane’s Addiction’s Dave Navarro, Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington, Velvet Revolver’s Dave Kushner and Queens of the Stone Age’s Joey Castillo at the event benefiting Rhonda’s Kiss, supporting programs to assist cancer patients in need, and helping those who receive a cancer diagnosis make ends meet during treatment.
“Cancer affects many lives and this year it was my family’’s turn,” Johnny explained in the press release.
“The team at Cedars-Sinai works tirelessly to help people in their darkest moments.
The 30-year-old wanted the legal protection after filing for divorce from the A-lister, and alleging that he had physically abused her throughout their time together.
The 53-year-old's team had tried to depose the actress last month, but a judge denied the request because his laywers didn't give Miz Heard enough notice. We're curious to see how the deposition goes during this next stage in their messy split.
